Hi! I’m Ji.

I am a designer based in San Francisco, where I spend my time designing products, services, and experiences. User experience is how a person feels when using a system and my goal is to enhance those feelings through design.

Design is responsibility

Design is a process

Design is honest

Design is a creative approach

Ji Won Yeom is a San Francisco-based designer, who is also an explorer, a researcher, and a collaborator. She believes ideas stem from the collaboration of creative minds among diverse people and enjoys working in teams. She aims to immerse herself in design, positively impact others, and interact with users through functional and sustainable design solutions. In essence, she feels to truly appreciate design, she must start with a better understanding of people. She uses design to engage, empower, and educate across print, screen, and space and also to create thoughtful experiences for humans. She ultimately wants to produce THINGS THAT MATTER.

Her latest practice deeply concentrates on food waste issue in the U.S. and focuses on developing alternative experiences on curbing food waste in people's daily life. Her thesis has been exhibited at the Food Inno Symposium 2018.

She received her Master’s Degree in Design from the California College of the Arts, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design at Savannah College of the Arts and Design.
